Fresenius Medical Care is a giant in the renal care marketplace. Both horizontally and vertically integrated, Fresenius provides products and services from device manufacturing to pharmaceutical development and manufacturing to logistics management and clinic operations. As such, FMC touches nearly every possible aspect of the renal care marketplace.
As FMC evolved into this vertically and horizontally integrated giant, the brand had not kept up. Signature Brand Factory took the initiative to evolve the brand to both reflect and lead the corporate and brand vision. In effect, FMC was the force that was evolving care in the renal/dialysis marketplace and its brand needed to be a beacon setting the path for this ongoing evolution.

Based on this brand vision, Signature developed a new brand architecture which reflected the structure and relationship between FMC brands, a visual reminder of the FMC’s vertical integration.
