Fresenius Medical Care is the world leader in dialysis products and services. However, in the Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) niche, a competitor dominates with 70% of the market. But with the introduction of the new Liberty Cycler, Fresenius stands poised to make inroads against that competitor, whose cycler uses older technology and lacks some of Liberty’s safety features. Liberty lets patients schedule their dialysis overnight while they sleep – a Dream Machine. In addition, many patients attest to one of the best benefits: the Liberty Cycler is easy to use.
Solution
Signature created a winning strategy when it branded the Liberty Cycler as a pumping cycler with important safety features, notably Stay-Safe technology which reduces the opportunity for infection. In addition, a multi-pronged campaign educated medical professionals and patients about other benefits—its power and versatility as a pumping cycler, the IQ System patient monitoring software, and the backing and technology of Fresenius Medical Care.
